Ben & Anda Mogos

Ben and Anda both became Christians as teenagers in Romania, their home country. However, they come from different backgrounds: Ben is the sixth generation of a family of devoted Evangelical Christians while Anda’s father was a convinced Communist before he became a Christian himself.

When the Lord brought them together they were both studying Theology to prepare to enter full time ministry upon graduation from college. This took place in Bucharest, Romania, the place where they also got married towards the end of their undergraduate studies. Around the same time the Lord called them to minister to African and Asian refugees in Bucharest, and for two years, Ben was a full time assistant pastor in a newly planted church.

As the Lord would have it, the more time they spent in the ministry, the more they realized they needed more training, and this is how they got to Dallas Theological Seminary. Now, Ben is studying to get a Master’s degree (ThM) in Christian Education and Anda is getting her Master’s degree (MA) in Biblical Counseling.

They are passionate to return to Romania and serve their people and the world by training others as they are being trained here. Lord willing, Ben will be a pastor and seminary professor, while Anda dreams of opening her private counseling practice and also training a new generation of Christian counselors.
