Eric & Rikki DeGrove

Eric and Rikki DeGrove along with their son Charlie and daughter Violet, are seeking God’s glory in Singapore at Crossroads International Church where Eric is the pastor. Singapore is a tiny island city/state on the tip of the Malaysian Peninsula. Founded in 1965, Singapore has quickly grown to one of the most prosperous nations world-wide. Singapore is the travel-, financial- and shipping-hub of South East Asia. A third of its residents are expatriates and the island sees more than 12 million visitors each year, well over twice its entire population! Crossroads International Church was started in 2006 to reach out to over one-million expatriate(foreign) professionals who live there. Today Crossroads International Church counts members from 15 different countries! The need to reach out with the Gospel of Christ to these many expatriates is great. Eric, from Texas, U.S., was raised in a Christian home and trusted in Christ for his salvation at a young age. During college, God began to deepen Eric’s faith and commitment to Christ and began to develop his interest in missions through a mission trip to Macedonia and Greece. Eric earned a Master of Theology degree (ThM) from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2009.

Rikki, also from Texas, U.S., was raised in a Christian home and prayed to receive Christ at age 9. As a freshman in high school, she read her first missionary biography, and wondered if God was calling her to be a missionary. During college, through the encouragement of a discipleship group, Rikki’s love for God’s Word deepened. A mission trip to Spain developed in her a desire to minister to international students back home. Rikki received a M.A. in Speech Language Pathology in '04.
